STEELE IS NUMBER ONE:

After spending weeks among the top ten Canadian reggae spins, "What´s Wrong Wid Wi" written by Steele and performed by Steele and George Nooks now sits at the #1 spot on Galaxie Reggae, regarded as an integral part of the CBC´s continuous cable and satellite music network. On these same charts, "Confession", Steele´s latest recording for MOBS Production, currently holds down the #4 position.

Steele says, "It´s always a blessing when the work that I put forth is accepted and appreciated by the people. Without their love and support I am nothing, and my fans have come to expect only quality work from me and my intention is to do my best to please, though not always possible, but my intentions are always pure."

RASTAFEST - A SPIRITUAL OCCASION:

MOBS Production would like to say thanks to Upfront Theatre Production for having Steele as a part of RastaFest 2006. The main event, the live show, was held on Saturday September 30th, and featured artists such as Steele, Tony Rebel, Horace Martin and more. Throughout the night, all artists delivered the ultimate message of love and unity and everyone in attendance definitely accepted. The MC for the evening´s proceedings was King David from the Positive Vibration show heard on CHRY 105.5fm every Friday from 10am to 12noon. Many of Steele´s fans also went home overjoyed with a copy of his latest 11x17 poster.

One love

Andrew Forbes

Andrew Forbes To Spearhead Roadside Productions Jamaica

Towards the late 90s while still working with the Phone Company I met Tony Nicholson at his Old Hope Recording Studio in Kingston. This extraordinary musician/producer/singer/songwriter who has been in the music arena for many years was quite focus on developing young talents and I instantly became a part of his Roadside Production Company. We started working together, recording and producing songs for his Roadside Production Label. There were other artists like Zaro and Singing Chris in the camp. By the year 2002 Roadside Production released a compilation cd titled “Sampler” which featured two of my tracks, “need your love” and “poor man”. I gained some much needed exposure in the business by way of air play on local radio stations and a couple of Gigs on Jamaica’s North Coast as a result of this project.
